Maggie Coleman advocates for those in need of housing in big and small ways through her work for J.O.Y. Ministries. Above at the July 10, 2018 meeting of Adair Fiscal Court, she advocated for a modest proposal to involve Adair County and City of Columbia Law Enforcement and 911 center in small project aimed at providing clean, comfortable temporary housing for the homeless in Adair County, with a solution costing less than $20,000. On a grander scale, deserving Adair County family is in need of a home; for that effort, she and others in the Paz-Holley Project are over half way toward their goal of $108,000.
