John Mark Partin & and his girlfriend, Haley Ellison, were, not incredibly, almost sold out of "Incredible" sweet corn after arriving at Farmers Market on the Square with a full truck load of it. Corn here, and with most sellers in Adair County, is $4 per dozen/and if it had been sold from a stall or in a restaurant/slathered in butter, it would retail for $2-4 depending on whether sold by the ear or half ear, returning $24 to $48 on a $4 investment! We have seen is on restaurant menus since Ol' Joe's BBQ turned it in the National Food of Adair County. The incredible taste sweet corn is what gives it such value. John Mark is the great grandson of the late Ray Partin, a legendary figure in the development of Adair County agriculture.
