Adair 1st responders handle dangerous roadway oil spill quickly 2018-07-15 - North side Campbellsville Street & Fairground Street Intersection, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Saturday, 12:52pmCT - A quick thinking motorist who saw a vehicle slide through a red light initiated an immediate response effort involving law enforcement, the Kentucky State Highway Department, and others which efficiently secured the intersection and rerouted motorists. From call-in to a return to full use of the intersection took a multi-agency team of perhaps a dozen or more individuals to complete, leaving only the clean up of the absorbent for later - and finding the vehicle which releases the oil.
