Mayor Curtis Hardwick, above, in photo on July 30, 2018, with Clerk Lisa Greer, was the second candidate to file for mayor of Columbia, seeking a record 5th term. After a brief "Here's What We'll be Doing & Why" welcome, by County Clerk Lisa Greer at left, drawing for ballot positions took place for Non-Partisan races. Above, drawing for Division 5 School Board race, Vicky Pike (D member of the Board of Elections), reads the number drawn from cup marked "School Board." The top spot in that race goes to Troy Grider. The other candidate, who now holds the seat by virtue of appointment, Michael George Payne, will be in ballot position #2.
