Wood N Bloom holds grand opening

Friday the Chamber of Commerce blue ribbon was cut opening up yet another new Columbia business - Wood N Bloom - in the center behind Taco Bell. Owner Kim Karnes, holding the big scissors, said, "Thank you to everyone for making the ribbon cutting and grand opening such a success!" Travel: Valley Of Fire State Park, 2 of 2

Robert writes, "This is a photo of the 'Fire Wave' from one of the more popular hikes in the Park. From May 15 - 30 September, this trail, along with many other hikes, is closed due to high heat conditions. The hike continues below and behind the fire wave for another mile or so."
