Kindergartener JayLine Williams colors at Wings Express. Campbellsville Elementary School has begun its after-school program to help students with homework and other activities. Students receive help with reading, math, science, technology, social skills and more. They also participate in activities to learn about nutrition. During the first day of the program for this school year, students received help with their homework, enjoyed a snack and then had fun coloring, building with blocks and Legos and reading. By Calen McKinney Campbellsville middle and high school art teacher Jo Ann Harris will be featured in an upcoming exhibit at the Taylor County Public Library, 1316 E Broadway Street, Campbellsville, KY. There will be a reception for the artists on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 5-6pmCT/6-7pmET. Harris will show three pieces in the library's first juried art exhibit, which will be on display for a week. The exhibit will feature contemporary classics made by local artists, and is hosted in observation of National Arts in Education Week. Harris's works are acrylic and mixed media paintings. Mark Hale: Solutions found in Georgia to Bypass safety problem 2018-09-08 - Down in the State of Georgia - Photo By Mark Hale. Here is the fix for the Bypass/61 intersection. Works just like the Square. Both of these are in Georgia, but lots of states are doing this. It eliminates the need for stop lights and there are no left turns onto or off of the circle. Motorist coming on to the circle yields to those already on the circle. I've seen a bunch of them in heavy traffic and they work pretty well. This is a 100% fix for our problem at that intersection.
