Krew Henderson agreed to sit a moment between climbing trips through the Adair County fire truck. He was at the Saturday fundraiser for Crusade for Children at the fire department with his Grandma Vicki Hatcher.

Robert Montgomery, left, and Terry Flatt were busy taking up money at the Adair Fire Department pancake fry. The breakfast started at 6am today, and right from the start they had good crowds. Good weather and a good political season makes it even better. The event is a traditional fundraiser for the Crusade for Children charity.

The breakfast at the Adair Fire Department drew a good crowd Saturday morning. All proceeds from the annual Columbia-Adair County Fire Department Pancake Fry go to the 2019 WHAS Crusade for Children.
