The Horse At J. Wheeler Holler

2018-11-03 - Photo by Robert Ellis Woodworking.
This is one of those photo excursions that happened by mistake. I thought I was on another road in the chance community that I had visited earlier in the year. Happily I got it wrong. Sandy (J. Wheeler's Daughter) who happened to be there at the farm granted me access to take all the pics I wanted. Sandy and I went to High School together and had some catching up to do. After about an hour of taking in the beautiful scenery of the farm and "circling the horses", this particular horse finally lined up the way I wanted. Patriotic flag/banner, old shed with a star on it, fall colors... only thing missing was possibly a marching band in the background. Anyway, I also captured a nice photo of an old sorghum mill (pic forthcoming). Much thanks Sandy for your permission. --ROBERT ELLIS. (c) Robert Ellis Woodworking
