Malakai Horton placed 1st in his weight class at Bluegrass Nationals this past Saturday, Dec 1, 2018, in Louisville, KY. He represented Taylor Co Youth Wrestling.

Adair County Middle School Quick Recall winners

ACMS Coaches Vicki Leibeck-Owsley and Mary Ann McQuaide are super proud of this smart, hard working bunch of kiddos! The ACMS 6th Grade Academic Team dominated the competition from start to finish and cleaned up at awards finishing first in Quick Recall and first overall with all student participants placing in one more areas of written assessment! From left are: Coach Mary Ann McQuaide, Joseph Kotter, Trevir Andrews, Tristan Andrews, Kyrnan Bowman, Bailey Watts, Andrew Zinati and Coach Vicki Leibeck-Owsley!

Beth writes, "Sometimes the most beautiful sights are seen just outside my back door. It's been unusually warm in Indianapolis over the weekend, and rained most of the day yesterday but I happened to be lucky enough to see this rainbow when the sun peaked out for a few minutes."

Knife Club donates gift to Shop with Sheriff program

The Adair County Knife Club presented Sheriff Harrison with their annual donation to the Shop with Sheriff program. Others made donations as well. Those in the picture are: Front row, Jeanette Aaron, Willard Bryant presenting the check to Sheriff Harrison Moss. Back row, Rhonda Thomerson, Phyllis and Paul Green, Bill Aaron, Phillip Cox, Jeralyn Spires, Richard Chelf, Allan Day and Danny Shaw. Sheriff Moss goes through the Adair County School Family Resource, and wants to thank them, the knife club and the many others who support the Shop with Sheriff Program. The Knife Club is grateful for all the continued support.

TJ Health makes donation to J.O.Y. Ministries

(Sponsored) J.O.Y. Ministries says 'thank you' for a $300 donation from the employees at TJ Health Columbia. Pictured is JOY Ministries President Robin Lewis with Bill Edwards, TJ Health Columbia's Assistant Chief Nursing Officer. The gift helps with the goal of raising $15,000 this season to help those in need in Adair County. If you would like to give a tax-deductible gift to support these efforts, please mail your check to J.O.Y. Ministries, P.O.
