Sheriff-elect Brockman at Sheriff's Conference in Louisville

Over a 7 day period, the newly elected sheriffs are being trained on the constitutional duties of a sheriff in addition to the expected law enforcement duties they perform in their respective counties.

This is the 89th conference sponsored by the Kentucky Sheriff's Association. There were 73 returning sheriffs and 47 newly elected sheriffs in attendance.

CHMF promotes conservation by increasing public awareness of the aesthetic, recreational and economic importance of forests and offers science training for teachers and children. The 158-acre educational and research woodland is managed by Campbellsville University as a regional center for environmental education and research on eastern deciduous forests.
