A stop by the Adair County Courthouse Annex found a huge Christmas tree in the entryway beside the wall marker declaring the 1992 opening of the building. Richard Lee Walker was the Judge Executive; Pam Smith was Deputy CJE; Ray Hutchison was the County Attorney Lynn McLean was Treasurer. Magistrates in 1992 were: Treva Downey Ballou, Lowell W. Items that have been donated are being auctioned to the highest call-in bidders and proceeds will be used to help families at Christmas with food and toys.
