It includes some standards like Chicken Pot Pie and some truly unusual concoctions, such as this recipe for "Brussels Sprouts and Chestnuts with Vienna Sausage." Thomas Edison Butchertown House 2019-01-03 - Louisville, KY - Photo by Pen. Thomas Edison (1847-1931) is thought to have rented a room in this house on Washington Street during his 18-month stay in Louisville. As a young man he conducted experiments, often all night, then walked to his job as telegraph operator at 58 West Main Street. I had the pleasure of being able to hang out with Fred and Richard Young and also spoke with legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Artimus Pyle.
