Hope you've found time and ingredients to include your New Years Day good luck meal today. This plate reflects my Sulphur Well and Edmonton family heritage - always blackeyed peas and always cabbage. Everything else is just additional. We had to have those two ingredients every single New Years Day of my growing up years for good luck in the coming year.
