Fading grandeur in Spencer County 2019-01-10 - Spencer Co, KY - Photo by Pen. There are a number of grand old buildings around Central Kentucky that are slowly fading away, like the now-gone hotel at Sulphur Well, or the brick building behind the trees at the corner of the bypass and Hwy 68 just outside of Lebanon, KY. Every time I pass them, I wish for more time to find out about the history of them. This house sits high on a hill right on Hwy 44, just outside of Taylorsville, Kentucky.
