At the Adair County School Board meeting January 17, 2019, the leadership and staff were joined by family and friends there to see students showing and talking about a special new program they've been able to participate in which is creating new career options not available to students in the past.

Adair County High School student Emma Wall, left, opened the Storymaker video presentation along with fellow students Jenna Grant and Jace Coffey at the January School Board meeting. With them was teacher Katie Curry. They explained they can use the program and work on their skills development in arts class, power hour, and student news, Tribe TV. Ms. Curry said some of the important skills learned include script writing, marketing and selecting the target audience.

Note from Mitzi - we're keeping the bird feeder going

Little Finches (at least that what I think they are, have to ask my little Moma) visit our bird feeder all year round. It is especially important to keep it filled when the ground is covered with ice and snow. Please take good care of all the animals in your home, yard and farm this winter.

KSP Unveils New Mobile Drug Education Trailer

The Kentucky State Police have introduced a new mobile substance abuse education exhibit designed to help inform the public about the devastating effects of substance abuse. The 30-foot trailer features 14 flat screen monitors and one touch-screen monitor that present video messages about meth, heroin, marijuana, alcohol and tobacco.
