Part of the highlights of Friday night's basketball games against Russell County High School included honors bestowed on the 2009 Fifth Regional Championship Team. Then the 2019 teams played with one win and one loss. The Adair County High School girls team lost their game with RCHS, while the ACHS boys team was victorious over RCHS boys. Spotted on a morning walk with Churchill the dog, this puddle froze in a most interesting pattern as the temperatures dropped quickly yesterday. According to our Resident Expert on Things Natural and Frozen, Billy Joe Fudge, this happens when the water level drops faster than the surface can freeze, and can even occur on much larger scales.
