Kayla Garrison Jones received the Outstanding Young Alumna Award for her work as an oncology research nurse and is part of early drug development. In her thank-you, she said, "Lindsey Wilson University developed me into someone who views every patient as worthy of, and equal of, the same care, and views every neighbor as her brother and sister, and a nurse who realizes how sacred and rare the opportunity to live, love and care for people really is." Travel: Arnolds travel from Fairplay to Denmark

Veronica writes of her recent trip overseas, "We flew into Copenhagen and then drove north for a bit to catch a ferry, to shorten our drive time as we head further north. It's a bit colder here with lows in 30s and highs in 50s. When we saw the coast, we had to park, get out and walk a bit. It was cold but it was so cool to see a body of water I have never seen before. The shoreline was stony. Water was freezing, well not technically. With wind coming from the coast it feels colder I think."
