Marshall and Nelda Sue Lloyd Rowe opened Donnie's Drive-In on Tuesday, October 1, 1957. We have Babies at our Church! 2019-04-14 - Russell Springs, KY - Photo by Sandy Evert. Our congregants at Russell Springs United Methodist Church have been watching the Mother & eggs in this birds nest for several weeks now. The nest is on a wooden wreath that hangs on one of our outside doors. We snapped some pictures of them hatching this morning. Thunder Over Louisville: B52 Bomber 2019-04-13 - Louisville, KY - Photo by Pen. A B52 from the 2nd Bomb Wing Barksdale U.S. Air Force Base, Louisiana flies low over the Abraham Lincoln Bridge at Thunder Over Louisville on Saturday. The annual event kicks off two weeks of Derby Festivities. Wikipedia has this to say about the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress: "The B-52 has been in active service with the USAF since 1955. ...[and] completed sixty years of continuous service with its original operator in 2015. Main Streets: Valdosta, GA 2019-04-13 - Valdosta, GA - Photo by Pen. Neat brickwork and lots of manicured plantings mark the sidewalks in Valdosta, Georgia, spotted on a recent trip south. The plantings provide a nice buffer between vehicles and pedestrians, and the bumpouts at crosswalks mean fewer lanes for pedestrians to cross, as well as slowing traffic slightly at the crosswalks.
