Epicurean Kentuckian: INedibles?
2025-10-29 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
This mushroom smiled at me as I took its picture. The next morning I awoke to a whole garden of them, the top of each is about the size of a coffee mug.
The question - how can I know if they are here for a hearty mushroom meal, or if they are to be avoided? The only thing I know is to ask our Columbia Magazine experts. If anyone can advise, please click 'comment' below to find text numbers and let me know. Thanks in advance! - LW
Thanks to Marie for the heads up: Letter: Would not consume that mushroom
