Lake Cumberland District Health Department Educator Jelaine Harlow presented the latest health statistics on Adair County at the July 2019 Columbia City Council meeting. Surveys show that Columbia and Adair County have made improvements in the areas of adults smoking, number of children in poverty and number of teen births. The score for adult obesity, unfortunately, is worse. She shared priority health issues the LCDHD staff is working on now.
