This is a view of Dale Hollow Lake from the Lodge dining area looking toward Trooper Island. The lake was crowded with boat traffic when Connie Stotts and I were there Sunday afternoon. We were sorry to learn we'd just missed the opportunity for visitors to tour the island the day before. For just a moment, we considered offering to join the large Church group announcing they were heading from lunch to a baptizing in the waters off Trooper Island.
