A positive sight, Courthouse open 2019-08-19 - Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. The Community Investment Group met at City Hall this morning with ideas of improvement for the City of Columbia. One of the items mentioned was how good it was to see the historic Courthouse open and active last week when Constables met there. Looking from Greensburg Street, you can see the doors open on the summer day and folks coming out for lunchtime on the Square. We commend the Fiscal Court for placing the Constables office in the building and for making needed repairs to keep the building up.
