LWC Move-in Day: Adam Hoehler represents ROTC

English senior and military science minor Adam Hoehler, right, from Somerset, Ky., participated in the academic forum representing LWC's ROTC program. This is the second year Lindsey Wilson's Army ROTC has been available to students. Last year more than a dozen LWC students participated in the program. When Hoehler graduates in the spring, he will be the first cadet to commission from the college.

LWC Move-in Day: Service Plunge Project

A group of LWC incoming freshmen started their first week on campus by cleaning trucks and the bay at the Adair County Fire Department. The group was just one of eighteen different groups doing service work all over Columbia-Adair County during the college's Service Plunge Project which was a part of Welcome Week 2019.

Twins Narjis and Nissrine Bourbouh from Harhoura, Morocco are among the largest-ever incoming class of international students to attend LWC with more than 50 expected to be enrolled. The sisters will swim for Lindsey Wilson swimming team.

LWC Move-in Day: Faith Lucy Kirabo from Kampala, Uganda

Incoming freshman Faith Lucy Kirabo from Kampala, Uganda is a part of the largest class of incoming international students ever in the history of LWC. More than 50 undergraduate students are expected to attend representing nearly 40 countries. Kirabo's cousins Ronald Kaluya '10 and recent graduate Derrick Kisita '18 also attended Lindsey Wilson College.

LWC Move-in Day: Casino night

Social science senior Payton Veraldi of Chatsworth, Ga., enjoys acting as dealer during a fun and innocent casino night activity planned by the LWC Student Activities Board. Students were invited to play fun card games, spin the roulette wheel or try their luck at the slots for prizes. The college has organized a weeklong schedule of games, activities and information sessions to help students relieve stress and ease into college life.
