Volunteer Workers at KY State Fair

Wesley Rose, Reilly Wells, Lindsey Taylor and Noah Newell were asked to assist with the State 4-H Project day at the 2019 Kentucky State Fair. They worked different project booths on Monday, August 19 at Cloverville. As groups came into to tour Cloverville, they assisted the groups to learn more about 4-H project offered in Kentucky.

Rezzie the wonder dog

Larry Ingabrand gets a kiss from Rezzie, whose bark saved Larry's life when a fire broke out at his home Aug. 14. Larry says he woke up, smelled smoke, grabbed his coat and shoes and ran out. Rezzie ran out before him.

A statewide problem

Thrown carelessly among the rocks between a set of train tracks sits a problem the majority of our Commonwealth is facing - intravenous drug addiction. Rarely are needles properly disposed of, and they serve as a hazard to individuals near by, particularly small children.
