At the Farmers Market on the Square Saturday, we found three with very happy smiles but the little one in his Mom's arms would have preferred more comfortable circumstances at that moment. Local gun collector’s rifle on display in KHM exhibit 2019-09-04 - Frankfort, KY - Photo from Richard Phelps. One of the rifles in the 27 rifle exhibit “Into the Bluegrass - Rifles of the Kentucky Frontier” belongs to Columbia gun collector Richard Phelps. The exhibit displays the 27 rifles built across the Commonwealth of Kentucky spanning from 1780 through the 1850 era. The exhibit will run through October 22, 2019 in the Thomas Clark Center for Kentucky History 100 West Broadway Frankfort, KY. To date there have been more than 11,000 visitors through the exhibit.
