Proud grandmother Frances Salyers is happy to announce the birth of her new grandson, Ozzy Azrael Rice, 8lbs 21 inches, at 8:07pmCT on Friday, September 13, 2019. Ozzy's parents are Terry Rice and Amber Chadwell, and his grandparents are Daril and Frances Salyers and the late Frankie Rice, and Robin Chadwell and the late Andy Chadwell.

Frances says, "Full moon and Friday the 13th!"

Old Creelsboro store will be open for festival Saturday

The one remaining country store in Creelsboro will be open tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, 2019, for the first annual celebration, "Come See Creelsboro." Activities begin around ten in the morning and go on all day. Downtown Creelsboro is at the corner of Highways 1079 and 358 in Russell County, KY.
