Mrs. Lilly Lasley Duvall a former student at Flatwoods

2019-09-21 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
Mrs. Lilly Lasley Duvall was escorted into her former school by her nephew Craig Lasley on Saturday. She was going in to see the progress being made by the Band of Brothers and Adair Heritage Association and community volunteers. A good crowd of people gave of their time to help shore up and begin restoration of the Flatwoods School, a Rosenwald School, the last remaining one-room school in Adair County.

These two beauties call Windmill Farms home and keep watch over Hwy 768.
