Six new poles with lights are in place on the lots adjoining Walmart Holliday Place. There are more lights to come but this is a start. The roads are located behind Sleep Inn in New Columbia. Things have been busy finding the owners of two small pot bellied pigs and one neighbor dog that was lost today. We think the little piggies are kin to the famous Little Oscar who made his presence known several years ago and became quite a celebrity on Columbia Magazine. Lucy Allen writes, "This is Teddy, he is a male unfixed cat who happens to be my son's best friend and emotional support. I took him to the vet because he had an injury to his neck and sores. There at Red Barn Vet, as we were leaving he managed to get out of the cage and ran off into the field across from the vet office. Teddy is a little over a year old, answers to his name and comes to dry food shaken in a plastic container. Please, if you see our cat (no matter the condition) contact me.
