Smokey Blue Cat, left, discussed weather with Mama Cat as a few light snowflakes fell beyond the carport around noon today, December 10, 2019. They sat atop their favorite Honda hood after it had returned from a trip and provided good warmth. Weather predictions called for up to two inches of snow but the cats were doubtful.

John Hunt Morgan stayed in the Pink Room
 2019-12-10 - Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. In a visit at the Hurt-Foust home Saturday, Laura Foust shared a few things she'd heard from family growing up there. One story was that when in Columbia, John Hunt Morgan, a big buddy of Cravens, stayed here in what they called the Pink Room, the upper right bedroom. So many wonderful stories! She looks forward to working with the City in the months and years ahead to help preserve the rich history. She said Mike Watson already has much of the history of the place.
