Birds of Kentucky: Ring-billed Gull 2020-01-04 - Taylor Co., KY - Photo by Pen. A ring-billed gull spotted at the Green River Lake Tailwater Recreation Area. This photo is from early January a few years back. Currently, the Tailwater Recreation Area is closed to the public, due to a maintenance project. Due to flooding conditions, Site 1 boat ramp, Smith Ridge boat ramp, and Wilson Creek Recreation Area remain closed at this time. If you're new in town, you need to know today is the last day to pay City taxes at City Hall in Columbia, located at 116 Campbellsville Street. The actual building is red brick, however, it does not look like this City Hall from the holiday decorations at the Holloway Health and Wellness Center at Lindsey Wilson College.
