In the last Fiscal Court meeting, Adair County Magistrates unanimously approved the request by Dan Thies, above, American Red Cross Disaster Response Team volunteer in Adair County, for the Annex facility to be used as the meeting place in any disaster situation to be coordinated with the Adair County Emergency Management Director. In addition, he recently said the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign has FREE smoke alarms available. Volunteers will install them at no cost.
