A juvenile bald eagle taking fligh on a misty, overcast morning. Bald eagles don't typically get their signature white feathers until they're around 4.5 years old. Based on the handy guide at avianreport.com, this eagle should be around 2.5 years old.

Roundabouts replace red lights in Springfield

Drivers heading north on Hwy 55 will find two new Roundabouts in Springfield replacing stop lights. It will be nice to see if they stop more accidents in addition to moving traffic through more smoothly.
