Trout at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery

For 50 years now, Wolf Creek NFH has been raising trout to stock in public fishing waters across the state of Kentucky. Today, they raise brown, brook and rainbow trout.

Tuesday is Adair County Food Pantry day

The Adair County Food Pantry is open Tuesday mornings to give out boxes to folks who need a little help. The building is located behind Columbia United Methodist Church with plenty of parking available.

Walmart remodel happening through April

A shipping crate city now occupies approximately a fourth of the parking spaces at the Columbia Walmart filled with new shelving, paint, electrical supplies and more. The interior is getting a massive overhaul, already the Subway is closed to make room for the growing customer pick-up service. Banners encourage home delivery fee-free for thirty days.

Superbowl ad gets negative reaction from LWC students

Members of the Lindsey Wilson College Singers react to the showing of Coffee Mate's "Foam Diva" Super Bowl LIX TV ad on Monday morning in W.W. Slider Humanities Center Recital Hall. The spot, which featured a dancing tongue, elicited strong negative reactions from several students.
