JIM writes, "The 'triple certified I.E.S.' floor lamp offered by the Community Public Service Company for $7.95. In the spring of 1950, Kentucky Utilities bought several of the Public Service's operations, including the one in Columbia. The CPS Co. had succeeded Texas-Louisiana Power on the last day of December 1931 after the latter declared bankruptcy. TRH garden flowers gifted to nursing home 2020-10-31 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Mayor Pamela Hoots.
