COVID-19 update by the numbers

The latest chart provided by the Lake Cumberland District Health Department shows numbers in the ten county district. Looking at Adair and surrounding, Metcalfe County is not reflected in this chart as it is in the Barren River District Health Department. Looking at their recent numbers, Metcalfe remains low in numbers of cases.

Still standing in Montpelier

This beautiful graying home is one of the older buildings still standing in Montpelier today. The flaming yellow maple tree brings attention to it this fall. Location is at the top of the hill opposite where the store once stood.

Fire damages first Hadley's Church

The Adair County Fire Department responded to a fire at the first Hadley's Community Church Saturday night. The building is located beside the new church building.
