LWC ISP jump-starts the Christmas season
 2020-11-20 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Amanda Dicken. The Lindsey Wilson College International Student Programs (ISP) held a small gathering to jump-start the Christmas Season on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at the ISP house on the A.P. White Campus of Lindsey Wilson College.
CDC guidelines including temperature checks, masks and social distancing were followed to ensure the safety of the event.

Veterans Day visit

Doris Rush, at right, a life long friend, stopped by the War Memorial sight on the public square in Edmonton on Veterans Day to take part in the Piecemakers quilt presentation to Ron DeVore, a Korean War veteran from Metcalfe County. It was great to see these good friends again. Doris is the mom of retired Adair School Principal Patty Rush.

Thankful for new controlled air purifying respirators
 2020-11-20 - Adair County, KY - Photo from the ACAS. Adair County Ambulance Service message, "As we all know, the Covid numbers are continuing to rise daily. We are thrilled to announce, that thanks to the Covid relief money from the federal government, we were able to purchase 12 capr helmets, 2 for each truck along with disposable face shields, to better protect our employees and our community. This controlled air purifying respirator uses a positive pressure air system to protect against airborne particles and allows easier breathing for our employees."
