Education Scholarship honors Vicki Leibeck-Owsley 2020-12-09 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Deb Waddell. ACHS English teacher Vicki Leibeck-Owsley, at left, and with Alex Trebek during her appearance on Jeopardy. Leibeck-Owsley passed away earlier this year after a fierce battle against cancer. The Adair County Education Association has officially set up a scholarship fund for a senior majoring in education from ACHS in Vicki Leibeck-Owsley's honor. Donations to the scholarship fund may be dropped off at Community Trust Bank, 1005 Jamestown St, Columbia, KY. This pretty lady came to a house on New Concord Rd. in the Adair County area and was brought in to the Green River Animal Shelter. She is very sweet and will sit on command. If anyone knows her owner please call or message the Shelter. she is on a five-day stray hold and if no owner is found she will go up for adoption or to rescue.
