Derek writes, "Here are a couple of photos I took of birds at my dad's (Steve Coomer's) feeders on Christmas morning. The first is of a downy woodpecker, the second is of a pine siskin. Siskins, along with several other species of boreal finches, are moving south in record numbers this year. I encourage people to keep an eye out for them at their feeders this winter."
