Scheyer receives ACA Ledford Scholarship

Matthew Scheyer working in one of the labs at Campbellsville University on KCNE3 research. The Ledford Scholarship will assist with his research over the next year.

Scheyer, the son of Mike and Delilah Wright, is a 2019 graduate of Adair County High School.

Cookbook sales at ACES on Wednesday

Cookbook sales are underway on ACES porch until NoonCT on Wednesday. Braylee Corbin (left) and Bailey Gabehart (right) will be on the front porch of ACES on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, helping with the ACES cookbook fundraiser for Adair County's Feeding America Program.

The cookbooks are on sale for $12 and include around 150 recipes submitted by the ACES faculty and staff (both current and retired). The proceeds from cookbook sales will go DIRECTLY to Adair County's Feeding America Program.

Great Pyrenees puppies ready to adopt

Green River Animal Shelter has two male Great Pyrenees puppies up for adoption, around five months old. They are not good on a leash, very friendly and love people and affection.

Please do your research on these large breed dogs before adopting. $50.00 adoption fee pays to have them neutered at our local vets office. For more information or to make an appointment to visit, call 270-385-9655.
