The water tower known as Page Street at the end of Garrett Street, at left, was scheduled to be taken down yesterday, Monday, July 19. Weather permitting, the water tower on Bomar Heights is scheduled to be taken down next week. Watch for traffic delays in both areas of town, and Pine Tree Street may be shut down for a period of time. This is being coordinated through the Columbia Adair Utilities District. At the 2021 Summer Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Breakfast the board of directors announced that Chamber Executive Director Gaye Shaw, at right, will retire at the end of this year after 27 years of service. Kim Harwood will take over the duties of Executive Director on January 1, 2022. On August 2, Kim will begin training. KSP aims to win Best Looking Cruiser contest 2021-07-20 - Woodford Co., KY - Photo courtesy Kentuckky State Police. This year, KSP's photo entry in the Best Looking Cruiser contest features a 2015 Camaro, equipped with a 6.2 liter V8 producing 426 horsepower and a 6-speed manual transmission. The photo was taken at sunrise on a local horse farm in Woodford County.
