Two Sister's Houses Near Glasgow, Kentucky

2021-08-13 - Barren Co., KY - Photo By Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking.
Robert writes, "This pic was taken along Highway 90(?) near Glasgow last Saturday. I had spotted an old truck across the street, parked near what looked like an old store building. I thought whomever lived here might own the old truck, so I knocked on the door to seek permission to take some pics. While up on the porch, this house finally jumped out at me. The colors, artistic design in incorporating the slabs of limestone (?) was beautiful.

The title only makes sense when more of the story is realized. From what I could gather a second house across the street, near the store and with similar features, was built by a sister. If I have the story correct they owned/ran the store. Sadly the second house had to be torn down due to deterioration. More specific knowledge of this house and its construction would be welcomed."
