Mushrooms of Kentucky: the Puffball returns 2021-09-26 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. The cats called my attention to the Puffball mushroom growing under their Maple tree. It must be a relative of the one that grew in almost the exact same spot last year. While this is nowhere near the size of the giant mushroom discovered a year ago by Earl Coffey, still, for downtown Columbia, we think this one is a pretty big deal.
