Music by Ladies Ensemble draws family and fans to the Public Square
 2021-12-03 - downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener. It was a balmy 62-degrees on the Public Square in Columbia and a crowd gathered to hear the Adair County High School Ladies Ensemble sing carols of the season under the Columbian Theater sign on the North Walk off the Square.
This was the inaugural event related to the renovation of the historic Columbian Theater scheduled for 2022.

Walmart grant will help community children
 2021-12-03 - Columbia, KY . The City of Columbia has been awarded a Community Grant from the Walmart Foundation. The $2,000 grant will be used for the Christmas Program for children in our community through the Columbia Police Department.
At the presentation were: Mayor Pamela Hoots, Chief Jr. Murphy, Assistant Chief Charles Greer, and Walmart Manager Shaunda Soverly.
