Missing Escape Artist, Thatcher

"Our pupper Thatcher has escaped his confines once again, about a 1/2 mile down 704 in southern Adair County. In the past he has been known to travel great distances down 704 and Hwy 55 South. KARES program will get quick access to help

Speaker Aaron Pointer, Director of Re-entry Programming, shared how the a program KARES can help people needing access to everything from jobs to food to transportation. He presented details at the December Lake Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living meeting at the LCADD in Russell Springs.

Adair Health Department working to give vaccine to all

The James C. Salato Health Department in Adair County is the place to go for COVID-19 vaccines - free to all from ages 5 up. Adair remains among the lowest number of vaccinated citizens of all 120 counties in the state of Kentucky.
