The first major snow of the new year is expected tomorrow, Thursday, January 6, 2022. Light snow will be possible as early as Thursday morning, but the significant snow will fall Thursday afternoon and evening, tapering off overnight. Heaviest snowfall rates in central Kentucky are generally expected to occur roughly along and east of I-65 and along and south of the Bluegrass Parkway Thursday afternoon and evening.
