Snow Cream recipe from the Watsons

Renea and Mike Watson wish everyone to be warm and well fed during the cold days to come! They're sharing their recipe for Snow Cream: To a bowl of fresh snow, add creme brulee coffee creamer and a pinch of confectioners sugar.

They also made some chocolate-flavored snow cream.

Epicurean Kentuckian: Leftovers soup

There's nothing better than hot soup on a cold day. This particular bowl was made from some leftover roast pork and leftover rice, sauteed with some mushrooms, red pepper, garlic and ginger, plus some broth, finished with green onions and cilantro.

ACPL Parking Lot still slick Friday Morning
