Friday night, March 11, 2022 at the power center
 2022-03-14 - New Columbia - Photo by Vicky Pike of Miss Vicky\\\'s Pampered Angus Ranch. A thank you goes out to all who battled the weather to repair the power outage Friday night. Vicky Pike saw the Parkway lights finally come back on near the nine o'clock hour as she was coming home from getting her farm water tanks secured for the "girls" before the snow got heavy. In this picture of the power station on Hwy 61, the work can be seen. By the time she got back home across the Parkway, her power was restored and she sends a "thank you" to all those working in the freezing temperatures and rain/sleet.

No snow day - all the snow is gone by Monday
 2022-03-14 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. The huge snow that visited this region over the weekend is almost all melted by Monday morning school time. Students will likely think, "what a waste." This picture is from Sunday when winds whipped the snow into drifts and temperatures warmed enough to do some good melting.

Mike Watson's History Monday - do you remember?
 2022-03-14 - Columbia, KY - Photo from the Adair Genealogy and History Center. Donnie's Drive In opened in October 1957 at the corner of highway 55 South and Tutt Street, according to the ad in Adair County News. The site was later Jim Dandy, Harold's Steak House, and now Speedway is there.
