Bringing KARES to Adair County

Adair County Fiscal Court has adopted the new KARES (Kentucky Area Resources) program to get help for residents in need. KARES is a web based directory and information portal that provides up to date contact information for, and access to, local resources throughout the community. From left at the introductory meeting are: BJ Wilkerson, Job Entry and Retention Support Specialists; Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan; Aaron Poynter, Director of Re-Entry Programming; and Myra Wilson with the Program.

At the Kentucky Area Resources (KARES) introductory meeting for Adair County, BJ Wilkerson, Job Entry and Retention Support Specialists, at left, spoke about her Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program and what it can do to help people.
