Photos like this are among the many treasures available to researchers at the Adair Genealogy and History Research Center, which opened to the public on April 19, 2021.
There will be an official "Ribbon Cutting" event on the one year anniversary, at 10amCT on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, shine or rain. Everyone is invited to come to the event, tour the collections, and rejoice in the history of our county and town.

Work is continuing on the Columbian Theater and comments are running very positive on the move by the School Board to authorize Superintendent Pam Stephens and Production Director Doug Beard to search for grants and donations that will allow for restoration. Beard recently gave tours to media to get the word out about the work and where things stand. Movie equipment is being removed and may be included in the school's surplus auction to make room for production management.
