CPD honored during National Police Week

Columbia Police Department Officers are honored this week during National Police Week. This week Officers all over the country receive honor, remembrance, and peer support. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated this as Police Week. CPD Officers and their canine partners are pictured here.

Grant received to help ACHS Welding Department

Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan announced that the Welding Department at Adair County High School is awarded a $147,089 grant for a vital piece of equipment in the welding shop this week.
